Your Data

BladeBuddy has no accounts and no sign-in. Your skaters, logs, and scans live on your device, so most privacy requests are a switch you can flip yourself — no waiting on us.

Turn off anonymous analytics

  1. Open BladeBuddy and go to Settings → Privacy.
  2. Switch off analytics sharing. It takes effect immediately — nothing further is sent.

Analytics are off until you turn them on. The app is fully usable either way.

Stop blade photos being retained

  1. Open Settings → Privacy.
  2. Switch off photo retention.

This applies to future scans. Photos are then used only to produce your report and are not kept.

Delete your data

  1. Open Settings → Privacy.
  2. Tap "Delete my data".
  3. Confirm. Pending analytics on your device are cleared, a deletion request goes to our servers, and your device generates a brand-new install ID.

Because the identifier is rotated, anything collected before that point can no longer be connected to you — by anyone, including us.

Delete individual records

  1. Delete any skater, sharpening log entry, or scan directly in the app.
  2. Local data is removed from your device immediately.

Revoke camera, photos, or location access

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Scroll to BladeBuddy and change any permission.

The app keeps working with permissions off; the features that need them explain what they need and why.

Remove something you added to the shared map

  1. Open the shop on the map and use Report, or block the submitter.
  2. Or email info@nopermissionlabs.com with the shop name and location.

Offensive listings come down on the first report, normally within 24 hours.

Asking us for access, export, or deletion

Email info@nopermissionlabs.com and say what you want done. Requests are honored within 30 days.

One catch worth knowing: we identify your data only by the anonymous install ID on your device, so to act on a server-side request we need that ID — find it in Settings → Privacy. We deliberately hold nothing else that could identify you, which means we cannot look you up by name or email. Aggregated statistics contain nothing identifying and cannot be traced back to delete.
